Biography

Troy McHenry Walters (born December 15, 1976 in Bloomington, Indiana) is an American football wide receiver and punt returner for the Detroit Lions in the National Football League. He was originally selected in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL Draft out of Stanford University by the Minnesota Vikings. He has also played for the Indianapolis Colts and the Arizona Cardinals. Walters won the Fred Biletnikoff Award as a senior at Stanford as college football's best wide receiver. Although listed at 5'8", Walters height is reportedly only 5'5"[1] according to other sources, making him one of the NFL's shortest players of al time.
