Earned first-team all-district 15-5A honors at safety his junior year, and first-team all-district accolades on both offense and defense as a senior ... Finalist for the Touchdown Club of Houston Defensive Player of the Year award as a senior after tallying 131 tackles, two interceptions and four forced fumbles ... Also rushed for 1,081 yards, caught 14 passes for 109 yards, and returned 10 kickoffs for 224 yards ... Recognized by the Houston Chronicle as the two-way Player of the Year ...
