Roger Clemens
Baseball
Dulles High School c/o 1981

Biography

Roger Clemens went to Dulles High School, only as a sophomore in 1979. This can be verified by the year book...

He is in the '79 Annual also. I looked him up and he was in the junior
individual photo section. In the same class as my little brother Alan. I
seem to remember the face, Brother does too! We both looked at the photo
and said, "I remember that guy". But didn't know until now he was The
Roger Clemens.

Clemens' parents separated when he was an infant. His mother soon remarried Woody Booher, whom Clemens still considers his father. Booher died when Clemens was only nine years old, and Clemens has said that the only time he ever felt jealous of other players is when he saw them in the clubhouse with their fathers.[1] Clemens lived in Dayton, Ohio until 1977, and then spent his high school years in Texas. At Spring Woods High School in Houston, Clemens also starred in football and basketball.[1] He was scouted by the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins during his senior year, but opted instead to go to college.[2]
