2007: This is his first year as a professional.
Played three years for the Blazers from 2003-2005 as both a defender and a midfielder. Did not play his senior year. In those three years, Gbandi played in 56 games, scoring 10 goals and adding 14 assists. As a sophomore in 2004, he was selected First Team All-Conference USA and then was named Second Team All-Conference USA a year later. Left school early when he was selected in the 2007 MLS Supplemental Draft.

Attended Jersey Village High School where he played soccer and football all four years…played wide receiver, cornerback and punter on the football team. When not on the soccer field, he likes to relax…listening to R&B and rap music…and watching CSI:Miami and old episodes of Martin. Is the son of Sandy and Mai…older brother is teammate Chris...also has a younger sister.
